 Frequently Asked Questions
 Record Section

Record Section Table of Contents

What is the record section
The record section is an online database of official (Happy) Hardcore releases. These include vinyl, CD, videos, DVDs and tapepacks that have been officially released and distributed.

What does the record section do?
Since HappyHardcore.com is now treated as the number one source for Hardcore information, we decided to create a master database of all hardcore releases for people to identify the tracks as well as catalogue their own record collections.

Where is the record section?
You can find a link to the record section in the top white navigation bar. A DHTML menu is also there to section the search types.

How do I create my own record catalogue
If you are a registered member and logged in, you can goto "My Area" section from the Home menu on the top white navigation bar.

You will notice 5 tabs across the page, and a "record stats" on the first page stats page with a button. This is true personalization at it's best, you can now make your own custom DJ record list, of all the records you currently own and all the records you currently want (to buy).

Only you can see this information when you are logged in, just the exact same way other people can't see your hotmail email when they login to hotmail.

What does the button do on the My Area page? Well exactly what the "star" system does in the forums and number of posts. It can make the number of records you own a public figure, to show everyone how many tunes you actually own, this is optional, and by pressing the button you can toggle between the different "public" and "private" stats mode. By default your stats are private.

How do I add a record to my DJ list (catalogue)
To add and remove records from your list you can only do this from the label view page:

Press this little drop down button:

Then a menu like this will appear:

From here you can select your options.

Can I buy these records on HappyHardcore.com?
No, currently HappyHardcore.com does not have the means to distribute the items for sale, we are working on changing this in the future.

You are missing many releases what gives?
HappyHardcore.com does not have an army of trained monkey's entering in hardcore release information, we also believe in not stealing the data from other 3rd party web sites that might already have it (they actually own the copyright). We enter in the data as we can.

Where can I buy the records listed on HappyHardcore.com?
As with all vinyl releases they are limited in number, meaning the older the record the more difficult to find and in most case more expensive. HappyHardcore.com keeps a record of record stores that stock hardcore globally, you can find these links under the links section on the site.

To find the links section, mouse over news in the top white navigation bar and click links, then record stores.
