Vz0u Hello again

I've been working on these two tracks for awhile and i'm looking for some feedback on them, I am an amateur producers so don't expect anything great .

DJ_FunDaBounce First track sounds very nice. Tight groove. Was expecting something not-as-good (ie. more amateur):P

second track: won't let me play. (virus warning and then some codec stuff that I'd rather not click on).

That's because google doesn't process larger files for streaming/downloading. It also doesn't say anything about codecs.

At first glance, that's what it seemed like. Not going back there to prove your point.

It's just a .wav file, I didn't know ableton could export in mp3 intil i was messing around in the settings,if you'd like i could export it in mp3 for you.

Thank you so much for the feedback :)

Thick and Creamy????
Archefluxx These are very cool! Nice work on the authentic early 90's sounds!

By the way, Google has a limit of file-size it will scan for viruses. It's a clean file

Thank you so much, I'm going for the old skool sound of 2 bad mice. I found this amazing plug-in which is called Cyclone. It's an old skool sampler!!! It sounds amazing. That's how i got that authentic sound.

I've heard a few people talk about how the M1 piano in the first track and how one of the notes are off. I tried adding dissonance to make the piano pushed forward from Owen P's video. https://youtu.be/OgIMh5C90Po
Vz0u Here's the new link for the 2nd song

I made it into mp3 instead of .wav because of the virus warning.

DJ_FunDaBounce Second track is spot on again with the ol skool vibe! :)

Btw, I tried out cyclone (been on the lookout for a good simple sampler) but after a couple of hours trying to get it to play nice with my cubase (7.5), I gave up.

I'm guessing it's because of windows 10.

Yeah it's great to get that unique sounds of an Old akai. I use windows 10 with ableton, To sample with it you have to side-chain another channel with it. Should be done with every DAW but somes easier than others.

I followed the instructions on removing the cubase plug in cache and stuff but couldn't get the sampler working as an effect, which was what was suggested (among other things) for it to work in cubase.

Huh that's strange, I've never used cubase so idk much about it. If you could, Check it out with Ableton or one of my other favorites "Renoise".

Renoise is based off of the Old trackers that people used on atari ST and commodore 64
