Smoogie Today I brought the last product ever from Apple.

Got a new Iphone a few weeks ago and only today decided to go out and try my headphones in it to find out it has no headphone jack in it. Seriously that should be standard!

I ended up buying one of these plug in jacks. Forgot the name of it but the sound is distorted. What a waste of money.

I had already brought another charger because they did not provide one for me. I have been told that I should use their own bluetooth ear phones. Why? There is nothing wrong with my head phones. I use them in my PC speakers (which I have had since 1999 and still work) with no problems. They would work in my old Iphone and would work in another other phone or CD player or even tape payer. Who are Apple to change things?

I don't use bluetooth anyway and never have done. That is so 2005! I don't use the cloud either. What is the cloud? Don't tell me I don't care enough to know!

But I am seriously done with them. Maybe I should have known that Apple new Iphone was not going to have a jack in it as it was apparently mentioned a few years ago. Maybe I am just dumb? Thanks for making me feel dumb, Apple! Then again I only expected my phone to come with a jack because like I said that is considered standard.

What a waste of time and a waste of money!
Samination Have you been living under a rock for the past 6 years? Both Apple and Samsung (and even Google) hasn't had headphone jacks for at least 5 years now. It was a big deal back then. And Apple wasn't even the first one to "kill" the headphones, just the more known one to do it first.

And just so you know. Bluetooth in 2005 and Bluetooth after 2015 aren't even remotely the same.
Si Thompson Lolz, Smoogie.

As Samination said, The jack changed about 2016/17. I wasn't impressed at the time either.

I didnt get one with my iPhone 12 mini...
Archefluxx It is shit, but it's standard for phones to not have a headphone jack. Gotta go bluetooth. It is bloody shit.

None of my BT headphones have battery. I can't be arsed to find the old style wires for them.

I got one with my 11 Pro Max and my 13 Pro Max came with earphones with the lightning connector on them.
Samination I think they skimped on it in Sweden, or the mini didnt have it at all. I only got a USB-C to lightening cable.
Si Thompson Just purchased a new pair. Plus 30 days free of Amazon Prime, so I can watch some shit B movies.
