Smoogie Which came first? Praga Khan feat. Jade 4 U -Injected With A Poison or 2 Unlimited - Get Ready for This As one of these clearly borrowed the same stabs from the other.

Both are from 1991 releases from Belgium. These are two of the earliest versions I could find:

Tekk From a quick glance on Discogs, I think the first release of Injected With A Poison was in november (https://www.discogs.com/release/721864-Praga-Khan-Featuring-Jade-4-U-Free-Your-Body-Injected-With-A-Poison)

Discogs doesn't have a date for Get Ready but Wikipedia says that album came out in February, so that would've come first if we go by release. There's a good chance both were tried out at shows before the releases came though, so the timeline is a lot fuzzier in reality. You'd probably need old tapes of raves from 1990 or so
Si Thompson That stab could possibly even predate these tracks.
Tekk Yeah, forgot to add that. In all likelihood the stab is just from some obscure keyboard released in 1987 and only available in one village in Lichtenstein or something

The stab sounds like it could be an old orchestral hit like the one from around 1912 that was used in the 80s. SL2 use it for their early release 'The Noise' as well which I think is also from 1991
