Lixx I've finally decided that I'm going to go in debt to my parents in the name of hardcore, so I'm ready to plunk some cash down on decks. I don't need the "get technics now cause you will later" cause I just can't spend the money right now. However, two tables have caught my eye, the Numark TT-100 and the Gemini PT-2100. I've heard good reviews of both as being excellent for starters, but I would like to see if anyone here has any experience with em. A pair of numarks with shure sc35c carts runs about $470, and gemini's with carts $570. Because I will upgrade eventually I'm tending to go with the numarks for now, and spend the difference on vinyl. I was also thinking of getting the gemini ps-626 pro mixer; at $120 the price is right. Any advice? Thanks.

DJ Pathfinder the gemini decks are very good . i had the pt 1000.
and the 2100 are improved so with them you get quality.

i never mixed on the numark ones so i cahn tell.

DJ Mouse numark decks have a bit of a bad reputation coz the pitch sliders get a bit dodgy when they get older,so if i were you i'd go for the gemini's

domainraver i've had a set of tt-100's for 6 months and they're really good.

I'd suggest to you to spend more $$$ on a mixer at first, and more $$$ on decks later..

just my opinion tho.....

DJ Mouse citronics aren't exactly brilliant either,my old decks were citronic and the pitch always went out on them, they had a stable platter though

DJ Mouse gemini's are good,my mate's got some xl 500's with the pitch bend buttons on and everything, they take a bit of getting used to but they're cool

Lixx I ended up getting the Gemini PT-2100's. 123dj.com matched a price I found on them somewhere on the net so they were $222 a piece. They've got the same lay out as technics, plenty of torque, quartz lock, the generic useless add on's like reverse and pitch bend, and no notch at the 0 pitch mark. You just can't beat a deal like that for new decks.
