Lixx If you have the money, they are absolutely worth it. However, there are some great tables that have better features and work just as well for half as much. I doubt they'll hold up for 20 years like techs but for now I couldn't be happier with my Gemini's.

DJ Mouse i guarantee once you get some technics you'll never go back to anything less,i got some myself and love them to bits.they're my pride and joy

ourhappyhardcore i guess you are right, but i was lookking around, and saw the gemini pt 2100's

my brother has the 2410's they are exact except for the digital pitch screen on the 2410s, and a pair would equal close to ONE technic, does anyone use the gemini pt 2100??

thanks

Yup, that'd be me. I think they are exceptional decks for the price, they have +/- 10% pitch and the platters are really light so I prefer them to techs. I haven't been spinning long enough to tell you how they hold up or whether you'll want techs eventually, but for now I'm lovin em.

futuredancer Looks like weve get Technis fever here !!! No doubt about it Technics are very good... BUT they are not the only good decks on the market !! If your thinking about getting a set of technics, take a look at some vestax decks first.. just as good if not better really......

Get more fu**ed and get rocking!
DJ Mouse i don't like the vestax, the pitch is too light and there's too much torque on the motor so when scratching on them your hand starts to ache. they got features like adjustable start and stop buttons, and 50% pitch but come on,what the hell are you gonna use them for??
plus when the 50% pitch fader wears out the pitch is gonna be all over the place and basically they'll be fu©ked. go for technics coz they'll last you a good 20 years if not more, you'll be lucky to get 5 years out of the vestax decks. they also lack a quartz and target light too, technics all the way for me!! :)
