davespice If you've never produced music before you might find some fo those really complicated, maybe start off with the PlayStation music maker thing - play about with it, then move up to a tracker program and then think about moving up to MIDI sequencers and stuff later on.

Good luck though mate! :)))

I`m using Acid Pro 3 at the moment but not keen on the way you have to past your samples on it. I`ve used E Jay but all the sampels have copyright on them.

StrifeII unfortunately, hardcore is solid to make. This is because of the synths. You'll need a good sample disk for breaks, synths etc. and programs like cubase are good because they support LOADSA file types. I started with eJay 1 and now im stormin with rebirth, cakewalk, acid pro 2, etc, etc!!! you're gonna need a few different progs (midi, sequencing, softsynths, etc.)

I'M KING OF THE WORLD!! uh oh big wave!!!
DJ Luc Lorenz cheers for your help everyone helped me out a lot and saved me a lot of money. I`ve been told so far to use Fast Tracker or Cubase.
