PUREFM Thats A Tough Question To Answer Cuz Hardcore Was A Mixture Of A Lot Of Genra's Coming Together..

I Think If You Want To Put A Name To It Tho.. One Of The First True Hardcore Songs Would Have To Be SMD#1 By Slipmatt..

But There Are A Few Others Too That Are Good Contenders For The First Track.. So Its Hard To Say..

More than jus' Good Music - www.purefm.org - Underground Radio !
Annex i'd actually be interested to know that, just... for the sake of knowing it *shrugs*
curiosities sake.......... not that it matters
i'm just happy it began, and has forged onward as it has :)

silver well if you are thinking straight "happy" and not hardcore or oldskool, I would think perhaps toytown or "Wish apon a star"

----------------------------------
you, me and hardcore forever.
Dj Tripnosis ya, wish upon a star, that's an old one

-Hi, My name is Auto and i looove to get Blotto !! -
DJ Pathfinder I think its not start with one song it must be an stream of producers that split with the oldschool breakbeat to jungle & hardcore.

You can't see me,because i am the future.
DJ-SK8 I'm Not 100% sure on this, but i think Toy Town was the first ANTHEM. And i don't think that there was just 1 happy hardcore track to begin with, i think a bunch of them were reliesed at one time. But i could be wrong thoe.

My god how long have those mice been living your back fat?!?!?!
Brian K i'd say somewhere along the lines between happy stomp and people's party.
somewhere in there =P

"As punishment for your desertion, it's company policy to give you the plague."
Heist Hardcore Uproar is the first one i know of that had a huge piano riff even if it was only 119 bpm!

Brian K 119 bpm?! is that even danceable?

"As punishment for your desertion, it's company policy to give you the plague."
sammypoohuk lol i spose 119bpm is kinda slow!

virus i remember i was on the bus one time, and these people were talking about trance and house music in front of me, and they were like: "120 bpm? people must pass out dancing that fast!" it was damn funny!!

Heist As long as you delete it after you've listened to it, grab hardcore uproar - together. its from 1990, try and tell me its not the first ever happy hard track

DJ CURLY heres my theory hardcore gradually gave birth to happy hardcore as people liked the piano tunes and female vocal's that were a tiny parts of hardcore tunesback in the day, and then some genius said i know because people like the pianos and female vocals we'll start to make tracks with just these in + a banging beat and vwola happyhardcore was born and has grown up to be a beutiful thing (wait til it starts dating).
see u later bye bye.

" when ya dont know where to go and lifes kinda slow ya gotta hit the raves and let your body lose control release the tension the pressure is high roll with the flow get high on the ride"
MC RizlaDizla i dont fink you can really put it down as 1 choon. i fink it woz a mix of choons doin slightly diffrent fings at the time, round about 94/95. more vocals, faster, kick drums ect

"Oh my goodness, Oh my Gosh. Here we go with a badboy rush."
"Oh my goodness gracious me, Badboy Dj, Wikkid Mc."
EeYoReBoI Now I know that Seriously it is not the first happy hardcore choon. but In my Heart The one that won me over would ahve to be Tiny Tot - DiscoLand (original Mix). When i heard this track dropped i started crying.*Giggle*
