HI-OCTANE I have been spinning hardhouse for a bit and love it.
I have recently started with happyhardcore and was asking any HC dj's if they could give me any pointers. as far as the difference between the too genres. so far I am doing good with the change but could always take in some tips.

Annex I think.. at least locally here
we're at a point... where it's time for happy hardcore to make a comeback

i mean..we've had a few dedicated happy hardcore parties here in the past... well not THAT long.. and they've been good

personally though, i'd say the scene was declining, and plateaued at the bottom for a bit (never gone of course)... and now is just sorta bumpin along...

sooooo get out there!!! make the hardcore you peeps, give it a kick in the ass, and move it back into gear!

Brian K i really didn't think there was a difference between uk hard house and happy hardcore, other than the tempo being slower and hh overusing hoovers =P

???? Canada has an awsome Hardcore scene, ****in awsome !!!!! i don't know what you mean by a few dedicated parties , well i don't really know what part of Canada yer from but here in Toronto Hardcore has never been better. Still kept Underground( as best it can) and still kickin it. Canada's scene is bomb diggity . always can use a bit more hardcore thogh for most of the parties here are Jungle and Trance oriented but there is always ample amounts of Hardcore and happyhardcore !!!

bua ha ha ha ha

cheers!

-Hi, My name is Auto and i looove to get Blotto !! -
Don Giovanni It is a well known fact that Toronto has a well established Hardcore scene. Most of the big djs are from there and well ya it is home to Hullaballoo. Here in Winnipeg that is not the case though. We used to be able to get at least a set of happycore at every party along with the variety of other genres and occasionally have parties with maybe 3 sets of hardcore...but since january I have yet to see a hardcore set of anykind here :( I need my hardcore fix and soon!!!

'Together united as one indeed, WE ARE THE HARDCORE FAMILY!

FinnHawk Depends on what part of Canada you're talking about... Central and Eastern Canada have healthy Hardcore scenes, but out here in Western Canada (British Columbia to be specific), Hardcore is pretty much unknown... There's not really much of a Hardcore scene here, altho I'm just starting to spin Freeform with a little bit of Happycore, so I hope to make a small dent into the scene here and get something going...

Heist I'd Personally like to see all the influences (Breaks, Trance, Gabber and Dnb) Fuze together and unite hardcore as one. Division was a part of hardcore's downfall all the way through the 1990's so lets pull together and be one again!

ONE HARDCORE TO RULE THEM ALL!!

FinnHawk I agree with Heist...
