pacman imo ham- don't you know is one of the best tracks released so far this year. i've always loved hams production and this one is a classic.

personally i think the new one spliff remix bites. i like the vocal sample but the double speed strings/synths thing that comes in is just weird. i much prefer the flipside. just my opinion.

drugs is not the answer... drugs? is the question... yes is the answer
sammypoohuk skillz n stylez is good but i was out last year. So far this year id have to say Dougal and TKM "Partytime"is pretty good aswell as "Dont want you" by breeze n stylez on jelly baby 3!!! Im lookin forward to the next Blaze! release newayz!!

SaMmY
DJ Mouse my vote goes on the remix of antisocial - get into love. not out yet but will be soon

"Don't frown when someone annoys you, it uses 42 muscles. Bitch-slap the fu©ker, it only uses 4"

DJ Mouse
Hixxy_is_my_god2k2 well me personally i avnt really heard any new tunes this year that are happy hardcore :( coz u an only buy em of the net n dunno where u can get em so i like cosmic gates soon to be released exploration of space, which is really gud! and is released sumtime soon, its dance or trance! :P

Check one, two were the bad boy krew, cream of the crop!
CDJay Top three tunes of 2002 so far ( IMO )

"New Blaze Track" ( Luna-c mix ) - Blaze [Masterwax 03]

Absolutely f**ing amazing, does everything right. One of the best tunes Chris has ever worked on, and he's worked on a fair few ;)

The vox are superbly used, and everything from the beats to the breaks, the pianos to the synths, fuses together to form one of the strongest examples yet that Hardcore is back in full effect. Did I mention the vox are superbly used?

"Paradise" - Ruffage [Phase4 02]

Very old-skool breakbeat hardcore sounding, but still fresh and retaining everything that made '93/'94 hardcore euphoric and fresh despite itself.
Inspired, and until the Blaze track looked likely to be my fave tune of '02.

"Darkzone" ( Luna-c remix ) - DJ Storm [Raindance 06]

Another Luna-C track? Not as anthemic as the Blaze track, but no less inspired. Excellent sample use, and almost impossible to pinpoint into a hardcore sub-genre.

I could list another 30 tunes at least that I would credit with showcasing the innovation and variety that the new wave of hardcore has brought, but it's futile.

We've never had it so good.

D.Jay

"Some people see things as they are... and say "Why?"
I dream things that never were, and say "Why Not?" "
virus ^^ yea.. paradise is a CHOON! great vocals, wonderful breakbeats! cant wait to get this one!
