silver Media coverage of hardcore is?
fazza im in two minds about this. obviously media atenttion can be beneficial for any scene- it spreads the word and helps people to find out more information about what is a relatively underground type of music which can only be a good thing. on the other hand too much media coverage can lead to the scene becoming too commercial and often leads to disaster! progressive anyone?!! so i dont know what to think!

"I feel you, i want you, i know your touch is all i need, im waiting you're shining"
tommo Yea,media attention may get more hhc fans and more raves but then you will
get kids who just buy it and listen to it to be cool. And of course you get people like flip n fill. Not good.

Im just a bassline addict
Im just a hardcore addict
Im just a dancefloor manic
Why o why cant you just accept it.
DJ Mouse too much will kill it,like stars going on top of the pops etc but the odd tv advert advertising a release would boost sales

djtommyrenegade But dont forget, media gave hardcore a bad rep. I mean, when you say, i listen to hardcore, most ppl say, so your a pill head?, but its got a positive side, depends what way you look at it,

i like big butts and i cannot lie .....
Xenochrome I'm all for fair and non biased coverage that let's people decide for themselves whether or not to support the scene. Unfortunately, most of the press that I have seen focuses on being negative and promoting the "pill head" stereotype.

strychnine I clicked the first option but really I couldn't give a rat's ass. Really, does having wankers listen to the music just to be cool diminish the music in any way?

SINIZTA That's a win/lose situation!Promotion iz always good if it's promoted n tha right way!But it also raises tha chances of tha muzik losing it's essence!
