Claxton Hi everyone!

Some of you may be interested in a DJ tutorial that I've put together for Future State Music's Youtube channel.

This is the first in a series of tutorials that I will be doing. If you have any ideas or anything you would like me to focus on in future tutorials, please let me know. This one is centered around structure and cue points. Let me know your thoughts.

ViolonC Good video. But what i found very irritating is that sound and video are roughly one beat out of sync.

My bad. Will be remedied for all of Bens future videos.

I think if it was focused on explaining how to count single beats/bars then yes, it would be confusing. The fact its moved past this & is focusing on examples of when to begin blending various 16 bar segments of tracks it remains very easy to follow.

However, we will cover the absolute basics of beat matching, & yes this will be perfectly in sync - otherwise it would result in many brand new pioneer cdjs being thrown out of windows the world over ;)
ViolonC Just a little confusing when he presses play at the wrong moment and then the mix is in sync or he pulls down the fader a beat too late. Could throw off a beginner so i'd wanna mention it. But keep it up. Somebody has to show them that you don't necessarily need a sync button.
