Just wondering if there is some kind of option somewhere to view the forum in some kind of mobile friendly format, as its a bit of a mission on my phone at times, especially if i try and reply to a thread that already has a number of responses. I have a far from ancient phone (galaxy s6) but at times i can write 3 or 4 words and then have to wait as it lags out, and then produces one character at a time, at a rate of about 1 letter per second until it catches up. |

It's the constant scrolling and resizing and all that malarkey that pisses me off about using this site on a phone. I don't get lag but replying to anything is a right pain in the snatch. |

firefox has a plugin called stylish that supposed t work on android phones. IT injects/loads another CSS file, which I am going to test this week |

We don't really have a mobile friendly version.... yes we should but nothing for now until I win the lottery or someone else wins and donates :) |

silver: a css optimized for smaller screens could still work. No need to make it overly complicated |

Yep it would but since this site was build on HTML3 almost pre-CSS (or before anyone gave a shit) there are not many classes and shit to attach to.
It's a needs to be done property job I think. I'm still committed to the site but I need to pay bills so my time is limited. |

Yea, I dont think I can do much since the google adverts steal 700 pixel widths :P |

Actually google ads are responsive I believe and even if they were not I would just hide the add or load a different size. |

Would making the text section mobile optimised be possible? At present, text entry comes directly into this box as it does on desktop, but other forums use the phone's software to type and then it imports the text for you. I'll try and get some examples shortly.
Seems all the forums I use do the same. Either way, it's not especially user friendly. |
