Why hello! you've probably seen me around asking other questions.
I very much would love to know how the hell most producers learned to make such snappy kicks! A few examples I guess would be modern day Gammer, Re-Con, Darren Styles, Etc. anything that makes the kick sound snappy but also nice and bassy?
Currently, the only VST I actually bought that makes kicks is Kick2, which has been good, but i havent exactly mastered the compression aspect and the crunch. Thanks guys!

Layers.
I've personally found that if I start off with the right kick sample, though, I don't have to fiddle around much with it. The Vengeance VEC packs where quite popular at some point. I only own VEC 4 but the sheer possibilities of layering with the ones just in that pack plus all the other kick samples I've collected over the years, are just endless.
Obviously a nice tutorial on the subject might better illustrate.

obviously dont use cubase, you won't be fed up after only a kick

highly doubt they made the kicks, they probably found a few really good samples and shared them amongst themselves

Just sample some uk hardcore tracks and take there kicks, after all the kick that is used is probably sampled from another track anyway haha
