slackscassidy Hi!

I currently host a radio show on Subcity Radio, Glasgow's volunteer-run community freeform radio station, and am looking to produce a radio documentary into the bootlegging culture in dance music during the 90s and 00s. My radio show (Nice Pipes) generally features "uncool" female vocal dance music, and as such I have found myself collecting many bootleg records particularly from the early 00s. I am interested mostly in the culture around bootlegging at the time - who it was making these records, how they made them, why, etc. If anyone is able to shed any light on this (preferably as a recording, but an email would be hugely appreciated), or be able to direct me to other leads I would be very grateful. You can get me at hannah@subcity.org
