After 4 years, over 5,000 uploads, and almost 15,000 followers, I logged on to SoundCloud tonight to find that my account 'The Rave Music Archive' has been terminated for copyright infringement.
To say i am gutted is an understatement. A lot of work went into building that, and i used it myself for listening to sets when out and about, or at work. End of an era..

Do you have a backup plan or are you just leaving it? |

I still have my music production account on SoundCloud with around 4K followers. As for 'The Rave Music Archive', I have just set it back up, but as a Mixcloud account. **** SoundCloud..

Cheers for the support! I have just set up a Mixcloud account instead. At least that way i can still upload sets to listen to when i'm out and about or at work.

There would have been a lot of pissed off people - nice one for the Mixcloud thing.
I like to play live sets on my tablet whilst I'm in bed for something to go to sleep to, Rave Music Archive was one of the go-to places. |

Yes. There will be plenty of pissed off folk. I was averaging between 17-20K plays a week.

I said Gammer and (MC) Storm in jest. But I wouldn't be surprised it was taken down because there were too many samples recognized at once.
Was there no way to send any complains about the termination? |

I have emailed SoundCloud twice and they won't budge. Stupid really, as that account brought a lot of traffic to their site. Oh well.. **** them! |
