arpz You'd think he would've played the set innit.

I owe a lot of people an apology from the weekend for not playing my set at Subb Sonic!

Thing is I was actually there for the whole weekend but on Saturday something just never felt right! I've been struggling lately... losing faith and interest in my own music. And on Saturday I took the decision to leave and not come back!

I've lost my way as a 'producer' trying to be a DJ..... I'm now producing to cater for what other people want which has took the fun out of it for me... all I hear (yeah in my own tracks as well) is the same kick, same reversed hardstyle kick for a bass and the Stonebank presets lol...

I want to produce whatever I feel without feeling like I can't because a crowd now expect a certain sound from me.... anyway this is a shortened version of a very easy decision for me and that is that I won't be playing out again.
CDJay I can't comment on the specific situation, but for whatever damage he writ before he's now supplied enough useful information to cure scene cancer.

Talented guy, utterly wasted and unnurtured, in a scene dominated by so many genuinely awful examples of the species. It's a shame, but there's little we can do until the "Baby Kangaroo" is justly smothered in its seemingly safe plush maternal pouch.

arpz We're still waiting :)
arpz Any thoughts on the state of things at the moment? Like SO MANY EVENTS are gone

edit: save it for Friday :D
CDJay Better no events, than paying people who used to do something to turn up and play Come Running.

It needs to die, to be reborn. We stepped away for a reason. 9 months, because symbolic.

See you then 😉

Diskard UK Hardcore is now The DCEU of music. The scene needs a huge reboot, clean slate.
kazukism92 Thanks Ganar for take care by yourself that your own music is literally a lackluster.
2013 was a neat but seriously, recently... the same shit.
Thumpa Haha
