To start I swing -5.00 to the left (I'm very pro democratic socialism anyway) and -1.95 to liberal. This puts me almost exactly where Ghandi was. Sublime!

Why do you think being in the middle makes you independent? If anything I'd say it only makes you most tolerant to any method of government and system. Independence will be a result of your personality not your political bias.
Being a 10 in anything probably is bad, but no-one I have seen take this test has come anywhere near that. About -6.5 is the most I have seen.
As suspected though, there are a lot of lefties on here, yet we live in right-wing countries (refers to any capitalist state).

I took this test a while back. The funny thing is that, based on the way some of the questions are worded, the bias test itself is biased left. |

interesting to note that "left - right" on there refers to economic left right.
The issue with "left / right" these days is the terms have been so bastardised. |
