PecheyTheLizard Whoa hey don't get your hopes up! This isn't an official Hardcore Underground thread!

My idea for this thread was to see what kind of Artist albums people would like to see or hear, considering how dry the flow of Hardcore albums have been this past year or two. Basically, I am hoping that somehow CDJay will hear our pleas and will try to contact or get some artist albums in the work, since bringing back full discographies has been a big thing over the past two years!

I'll start off with 3 Artist albums I would love to see become a thing:

  • Cube::Hard artist album, covering oldies, classics and current productions

  • DJ Ham album (much like the brisk album) would cover underrated classics, popular classics and potentially remixes

  • An official Scott Brown album complete with completionist bundle (I know Scott released most of his old albums, but physicals are what keep my shelf looking colorful)

I'd love to hear what other potential artist albums people would be interested in! There have already been so many great albums in the many years of The Hardcore Underground store existing! I would for one love to help influence future releases in any way possible! Let's get some fresh ideas moving y'all!
sebastianNL I know unlikely to happen, but I?d pay serious money for a Sy & Unknown completionist pack... I'll never stop hoping!!! :) They're still my favourite hardcore duo.
djDMS I would absolutely love if they could film a big event somewhere in the world - Let's say somewhere like America, then make it available on Blu Ray disc with loads of extras.

I know it's a silly idea, but you never know, it could happen one day...

Big oof
kazukism92 If we talk about music.

- Fracus & Darwin - Music Blocks (Gavin G Remix)
Anyone did forgot that awesome BBHC Remix featured on HU Breaks?

If we talk about tours.

- GET BOOKED AT CHILE (or Visit Chile, maybe vacations and stuff)

If we talk about randomness.

- Brisk Remix Album
- Bootlegs Compilation (aka HU EP7)
- DJ Shimamura HU Exclusive Album
- JAKAZiD Anthology
- HU vs Hardcore Tano*C Exclusive Compilation
(Uh Fracus & Darwin vs DJ Noriken?)
warped_candykid Happy Hardcore Underground 2 :P

But I would love to see...

Dutch/German HHC classics mixed album, with maybe updated remixes

Best of...yearly mixes, going as far back as 1995 to present, and with more unheard of tracks than the same anthems.

Mickey Init NG / BB completionist bundle/back cat
Seduction / Maximum Impact completionist bundle/back cat
Raver Baby completionist bundle/back cat

Hahahahahahahaaaa.... sorry :(
Thumpa Go Mental / Go Mental Dark & Platinum
Next Gen & Blatant Beats (the online stuff is awful, bad / no mastering)
Raver Baby 2001-2005 ish, few bits I'm missing
LeVzi Every single unrelease dubplate / remix that was EVER WAS ! ! !

All on one USB stick called the definitive guide to annoying non mainstream DJ's.
Samination a USB memory stick that degrades after 10 uses? :P
Triquatra 'the self destruction bundle' in which we see HU attempt a completionist super-bundle featuring all the music from only the most unreliable and untrustworthy musicians in the scene :P
Mad Max My TNC tshirt and clock would be nice....

Seriously....NUenergy including all sub labels.
teknotik
  • Vibes (& Wishdokta) anthologies
  • Demo anthologies
  • Next Generation / Blatant Beats completionist bundle
  • Quosh completionist bundle

YOOO I can agree with this! Love Kevin and his label!
CDJay I'm not giving much away to say that a lot of these are on our list, most secured, bar the obviously impossible and implausible, and the Nu Energy cat is being prepped for latter year release as we speak!

Stompin Choonz/XY2 is next though

Excited to hear that Kevin and his crew were willing to take part in releasing their discog! He's always been such a cool guy to me!
Triquatra Serously though, Hectic Records/Fusion

and of course Hixxy - but specially focusing on 1994-2001....see if the Hixxy and UFO tracks from Cover Up/B-Traxx can be dug up seeing as UFO doesn't have em.
trippnface need more Impact & Resist & Orbit1 stuff. Not sure where most of those tracks all got signed.
CDJay Just going to jump on here and state the obvious ; for all our (well documented) faults... What will happen if we don't do it? 😂

Well I mean I personally will go about my day so I leave everyone else to the embarrassment of bitching and groaning per usual 😂👌
CDJay Egads! Are your diamond shoes not too tight? 😂

MusicILove First of all I would like some answers to questions I have.
1 Will Gammer's mix be in the Blu the Roof project. From the way I always understood it Gammers was going to be digital only and the Blu Ray was just going to be Fracus & Darwin. with 15 minutes of someone else. However I saw on facebook you said that the latest delay was because Gammers Mix couldn't get liscenced and you had to get it re authored. So does this mean no Gammer at all not even digital?
2 Toy Town (Vocal Mix)?

What would I like to see from HU
1 A digital copy of the Free HU EP CD's. I always buy your stuff almost when it's announced so I always miss out on these. Would rather pay you for them than pay someone who got them for free ripped them and sell's them on Discogs for ?20.
2 Raver Baby back catalogue.
3 Force & styles Back Catalogue or anthologies.
4 MC Junior album. Perhaps to mark the 10th anniversary of his death Released in 2021-2022
5 Hixxy Album series perhaps with 1 Disc of Happy Hardcore & 1 Disc of UK Hardcore per volume
6 Scott Brown entire catalogue. His stuff is so confusing to buy because some of it has been released so many times. I would like a just buy it and you have the best copy of everything bundle.
7 Happy Hardcore underground 2
8 Another Rescue album in the style of the original
9 That Michael Mansion album people have been talking about for years. (There 4 Me (Kurt Remix) I want that one and many others)
10 NG BB back catalogue
11 Squad-E Pre 2012 album. He made some of my favourite tracks.
That's all I can think of at the moment.

Agree
CDJay Interestingly, we're planning on adding digital rights for all the eps to all active accounts! Possibly the earlier comp albums, gratis, until someone moans (which they will) 😅

I won't complain. I promise 100% happy to pay for them if that's what needs to be done to get them out.
PecheyTheLizard Hey CDJay, have you guys been working on that Cover archive? I'm just a lil curious!
The drunken scotsman Unreleased gems from various labels would be great although unlikely.

No. That was a references to the one who wanted to have unreleased tracks, or tracks that were previously only available on dub-plate (compared to vinyl, dub-plates can't be played as many times before degrading) on a USB memory
tenfold234 Alot of the stuff that has been listed already and...

-Collection of North American Hardcore (Pitched Up, Madness & Mayhem, Blizzard Tracks, Kreatrix, EKSR)

-DNA collection (stuff on Virus X, Next Gen etc...)

-Essential Platinum Colleciton (NEP and 2002)

As much as I would like a Next Generation/Blatant Beats and Evolution collections. Brisk & Brown have done an excellent job bringing stuff over to digital

-Of course Raver Baby collection but thats never going to happen due to the loss of the DATs (last time i heard)

-Elation collection - I know there's alot of unreleased material (just listen to the David Complex)

-Its been said to death but a completion of the Sharkey Completionist would be nice (although not a huge deal if its not)

-Uprising/Rebirth collection - Andy Freestyle kinda stopped releasing stuff and he did say that there was plans of bringing over the old vinyl releases as well as possible new remixes but nothing else said on those. Plus there was a ton of unreleased stuff that never saw the light of day

-Possibly a big kickdrum track project - New artists producing tough as nails UK Hardcore..Its not as pushed as it should be

I'm looking forward to the Stompin Choonz/XY2 and Nu Energy Collections when they get released

At the end keep up the amazing work or draining my credit card ;)
Samination Yea, the american stuff from 97-02 is very much missed

The Force & styles back catalogue would be a huge one for me. I have been dealing with a crappy copy of follow me since 1997 and i'd love that Al storm re-lick of heart of gold.
CDJay Been trying for years, not currently promising 😕

CDJay
Mickey Init THC!

All releases were available on a website called serioussounds.net once upon a time. Eyed up all the THCs to buy in one go but missed the boat - the website went down overnight. Never found out why.

Force & Styles would be great!
Brainchild Would be cool to see the short-lived Mainframe Recordings library get released. Don't think Scott Brown has put any of these tracks up online for purchase as far as I know, Don't know why.
CDJay Wild guess? The bottom dropped out of the digital singles market.

Fixable 😉

Got a link to that Al Storm remix of 'Heart Of Gold'?
MusicILove Another one to add to my list. United Dance Recordings & or slammin Vinyl.

This!

I would actually love to see some pre-happy hardcore stuff, e.g. Production House. There were a few tracks on Beats 24-7 years ago and some more recent best of artist albums that seem to have disappeared now. Is anything like that likely?
MusicILove I have follow me (Sy Remix) digitally but not the original. Come to think of it I haven't heard the original. YouTube time.
I have no nostalgia for happy hardcore because I only discovered it in 2010 but still the happy hardcore stuff is a million times better than anything Gammer & Dougal put out.
fakka13k Go Mental Anthology
Quosh Anthology
Happy Hardcore Underground 2
Pleeeeeaaassee!

you haven't heard much of Dougal & Gammers stuff from 2002-2005 then?

I love Dougal & Gammer I have basically everything of theirs you can buy and some unreleased stuff but this Gammer & Dougal is awful. :)
teknotik Not a music request, but it would be great if the website could automatically notify you by email if / when any bundles you own are updated in some way!
CDJay Yeah, we're working on some bundle related functionality and notification stuff. We've shoehorned this model into a system not really setup for it. Causes many issues, for us, as you've no doubt noticed 😂

CDJay
Samination I wouldnt mind just having a date on the download page. I think that would be much easier to implement at the moment, unless no dates are stored on the database
GrahamC Is it just me or does the start of the DJ Magical track seem to be missing the beginning - the woman sounds like she is mid-sentence when it starts...
djDMS It's already noted that the new tracks have a bit cut off the beginning
