Ok, Bit Ov A Deep Discussion This One..

What Year Do U Lot Think Hardcore Was At Its Finest And Why??

My Personal Oppinion is 1995 - 96
It All Sounded Fresh Back Then And There Was A Whole World Ov New Ideas Waiting To Be Tried..
That Was Hardcore At Its Finest For Me..

i would have tae agree with 95 - 96

and only have tae say one word that says it all for me the event

my faves would be 94-95, just a big fan of the ruffer 4-beat hardcore and this year w/ those yummy raw elements releases & ham producing more =9

Definately, Euro trance/hardcore (dune, Interactive,)was rockin, Dutch happy (elstak and crew), And uk hardcore had pianorama and fat kickdrums! plus evolution records banging out quality bouncey tunes!! And heres johnny was number 1 in the australian charts! haha

wow i wish i'd been into the scene long enough to respond.. *sigh* :)

ah well... i will learn more.. yes.. much more.... mwa! and then.. i'll come in and answer with an objective, retrospective view!

i prefer hardcore from 1993 and happy from 96 - 97
tracks like time ,or stompy stuff. butt also breakbeat with pianos an vocals.

95 to 96 because thats when i discovered happy hardcore and the first year was hearing everything for the first time. It was amazing.

I would have to say 96 even though I didn't even know what hardcore was until 98. But I have heard so much about it I would have to say 96.
