okay.... i keep a spreadsheet of all the records i buy, where i bought them and how much i got them for, i don't know why, i guess it's kindof exciting for me - and i like to know how much i spend.
well over the past 12 months, i have spent A$3000 (equivalent to 1100UKpounds or US$1650) on happyhardcore vinyl alone... not counting other vinyl (i also spin drum'n'bass, uk garage & gabber).
how much do you all spend on happyhardcore??? i think it'd be interesting to get a number on how much the members of this board spend combined? (btw this is not a competition - just interest)
if you do not wish to disclose this information, put yourself in a bracket.... and if you're feeling particularly courteous, translate it to US, UK and AUS currency so people can understand. (go to www.xe.net)

Hmm well I haven't kept my list that detailed, but I have about 145 records. I live in Canada so getting my records is quite expensive. I'll figure each record was $20 CDN (Because I've paid alot more than that on some). Comes close to $3000 CDN, and thats in like 6 months of collecting.

I spend every penny i can on HHC vinyl :)
Like Mr DnB each vinyl on average is £6, if depending on where i get them from. Most stores charge at least £1.80 a vinyl. So actually i pay at least £6 a vinyl. Unless of course i am ordering from Evolution, which in that case, vinyl's cost £5 each (very good price IMO) and 75p delivery. When it is open that is :P

i usually allot for around $100 per month for records, but then again there are some months that have more must haves pop up

Well I don;t have a huge collection or anything...but i went looking around online with the intention of buying 4 tracks i wanted...and well after 15 minutes I had charged $254 CDN ($166US/108UK/296AUD) :P
I could have easily spent twice that in that same amount of time...but i was TRYING to be conservative...ya right eh :P
OH well at least it is for a good cause :)

wow, i usualyy spend likle 120 Canadian every two months er something. i only buy tracks that i really like so when i spin the crowd gets a taste of my own personel style and song picks. thats just me though !!

a LOT though... the average record costs £5 or £6 + shipping. But there have been some older records that i've paid £8 or £10 for... even some that i've paid £15-£20 (though theres thankfully not too many of those)

Well, I'm an interesting one....
I used to buy nearly everything released from about '96 onwards, and have ~3000 HH records. Don't even want to think about how much it's cost, but it's a LOT I'm sure.
But I stopped buying vinyl sometime last year, I do make the odd exception, but in general I adamantly refuse to.
Last records I bought, and they were a once off, were KFA 2 & 3.
CDs only for me... having 3000 records I don't play is enuff masochism :)

Wow you guys spend a lot on records I only spend about $300 a year.
I used to be a raver, used to take lots of E. Now I just smoke weed, and you know I will Succeed. :)
