Welcome to the site mate.
I had a listen. Absolutely glorious tracklist. Lovely stuff.
As for the mix itself, it was nicely done. Your beat matching needs a bit of work, but that'll come with time and practice. I'm far from an accomplished DJ compared to some of the guys on here, so they'll be able to offer some better advice.

Thanks for the welcome and the reply Jay :)
Thanks for the great feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Yeah I'm going to keep practicing and I'll post more mixes as soon as I feel I'm improving!
Is there anything else you think I could do to improve?
Thanks again :)
John

Just want to say as well, everything I know so far has been in some way linked back to this forum. From tracks to tutorials and advice that others have received. It has all helped me to progress to the stage I'm at now so I want to say a big thank you to everyone that contributes here!

Your beat matching is all over the place in some of those transitions, what equipment are you using?
Tracklisting is pretty sweet though!

Thanks for the reply Jimo!
At the moment I'm using a friends numark mixtrack through virtual DJ, and unfortunately that means I don't have a sound card so cueing and beat matching is a bit of a struggle to get right. I know I could always press the "sync button" to sort out this issue, but what would I learn from that? Just trying to do everything the way it should be done instead of taking little short cuts all the time.
I didn't really want to commit to buying any expensive gear until I felt I had a good enough understanding of everything.
Again thanks for the reply and I'll keep trying :)

Of course, shortcuts are no good. And yeah no soundcard, ouch!

Mate, buy the gear. You'll never look back, trust me. I still rate my decision to buy a load of expensive gear as some of the best money I've ever spent.
Edit: Just to clarify - I'm talking about DJ equipment. Not cocaine.
