I can?t even name one music video for a uk hardcore song

But they probably just think it's more effort than it's worth, with most of the throwaway music.

There was a phase during the clubland era when hardcore music videos occasionally surfaced. Mostly Darren Styles tunes but I also remember Dougal and Gammers massively cringey video for ?Anybody else but you?.

In a genre where the tunes themselves don?t make the artists much money, I guess it doesnt make any sense to spend money making a video unless they have the backing of a major label.

Don't know if this counts but Luna-c did a few music videos for KFA. Its not happy hardcore but I consider part of that scene to some degree and the few music videos he did do were more artistic as supposed to the usual clubland feel:

Music videos are such a big part of promotion nowadays and all the videos posted in this thread are a decade old. That?s why hardcore is so dead

I doubt very much a lack of music videos is the reason hardcore is dead.
