hey guys, i might just be being a moron but i've got a problem with the radio and i need help! i've just moved outta my house, leaving my beloved broadband behind  now i'm on a crappy LAN connection and i cant get happyhardcore radio anymore!i think that it's timing out and being denied because it's too big for the connection. the 24k stream works for totally sweet radio though so is there any way to get a 24k stream for happyhardcore radio or is there anything else i can do to get it to play on my pc? thanks!!!!!

Download the latest version of Winamp, install... Let me know if you still have the problems.

hey! i'v downloaded winamp 3 and 2 seperatley and cannot get either of them to work! it might be because i hate winamp and cant use it for s**t,or it could still be the connection problem. i know it's worked before though because i've had windows media player run the 24k stream. any tips for using winamp properly? i've clicked on the 56k link, chosen open and save (open cant find winamp.exe & so wont work) and pressed play, it just says connecting without ever doing anything else. aarghhh, i hate technology sometimes! thanks for your help on this one mate, any more ideas??

Download and install winamp 2 only, 3 is crap. What happens when you launch the winamp stream then?

hey silver, ur right...winamp 3 was crap! i've got the second one sorted now. i click on the audio stream and it opens the happyhardcore radio box (with info on who's playing etc.) and a box asking if i want to open, save, cancel or more info. i click open, and winamp shows "connecting" for a while, before changing to "timed out". any ideas? thanks for your help on this one!

Sounds like your behind a firewall or running some sort of security blocking tools.

When i block winamp with Zonealarm i get the same problem... Just change your firewall settings...

windows media, but only on the 24k stream. i think its probably a problem with both winamp and my connection bandwidth. am on a isdn LAN connection, so it will only accept the smaller streams. didnt there used to be smaller windows media player streams?? or has it always been just winamp?

finally got it sorted! thanks to the new 24k windows media stream on the radio and a quiet with the teckies at my uni i'm back online
