Like if these new Hardstyle tracks came out 20 years ago they would be counted as Gabber House. To me a lot of it sounds more Hardcore than what is counted as UK Hardcore these days. It has also gotten a lot faster too. It is basically just a subgenre within the Hardcore scene.

I don't think so even as a subgenre. It sounds like a completely different style to me, not like hardcore at all, and it's way too slow. It's like calling a hammer a screwdriver because technically you can use the claw to turn slotted head screws.

I know it's nothing like the UK Hardcore. But it you played one of these tracks and a UK Hardcore track to someone that did not know about dance music.
I can honestly say 99% of people would say the Hardstyle tracks sound a lot more like a genre that would be called Hardcore.
