Hi all, does anybody know if this was released digitally, and know where I could purchase it from? I'm considering ripping the vinyl if not, but would rather have a proper digital release rather than a vinyl rip.

TIA

I don't think it did. I wasn't overly keen on the last three releases on Evolution Plus. I still bought the vinyl to complete the series, but I remember thinking at the time that the label had lost its way.

Thanks mate. I just find it weird how every other release appears to be available, bar that one. I've heard it in a couple of sets lately and fancy playing it myself. I think its a great piece of vocal hardcore. I do understand what you mean though as it kind of doesn't suit the style of the label

There's a few bits of Evolution stuff that got missed when Scott started putting out the digitals.

Q-Tex - Equinox, Celebration, Essence, Integrator (EV002)
Scott Brown - Johnny (DJ Demand Remix) (EV52)
Scott Brown - Come On (EV53)
Scott Brown - Turn Up The Music (EV55)
Scott Brown & Brisk - Chase (EV60)
Scott Brown - Turn Up The Music (Breeze & Styles Mix) (EV63)

The vocal ones will probably be due to licensing, but the others could be down to missing/misplaced DATs. I don't think the Evolution Plus label had a full proper digital release. However, most did get a release as part of the 3 volume series 'Evolution Plus Classics'.

Gammer - The Call was also not released digitally for some reason. He also had to edit Ghosts and Twilight Zone due to songs he integrated into the breakdowns, though they are available digitally on compilations, thankfully.

I loved the Scott Brown mix of 'The Call'. I remember playing it at an outdoor party in the summer of 2006. It went down really well.

Ice Cold is another. The vocals were removed on the digital release, which I believe were sampled from Foreigner 'Cold As Ice'.
