hixxy's songs always have been slow,round the 155bpm mark. i can think of a few that are really slow like jackattack and his remixes of a sense of summer's on top.
then all his stuff on bonkers 7 - how slow was that?!?!
i'm fully agreeing with tripnosis here,up the tempo a bit!!!

99 saw the time when hixxy mad ehis trancey, way to trancey hardcore and it woz way to slow. i fink hixxy now makes and plays bangin sets, yeah its no brisk or Menis but still banging.
End of the day more hardocre, diffrent hardcore is good for hardcore, if ya know wot i mean.

yeah i agree definately pick up the pace..... does anyone SERIOUSLY play hardcore at that speed anymore. i like to play fast, and i find ravaer baby's (and that vinylgroover toytown) runs right away. not to mention the SOUNDS used also makes them a pain in the arse to mix into. i normally go from an evolution tune to make it sound as flowing as possible.
drugs is not the answer... drugs? is the question... yes is the answer

hahahaha well some of us aren't old enough to be able to play old-skool hahahaha. yeah fair enough if you're playing old-skool i guess.... but then would you really chuck in a raver baby tune in an old-skool set?

The beat on the Raver Baby tracks is much differnt, and I dont particulary like it. I dont think they are real pounding either. I have RB 1-2-3 and when I bought them I thought they would grow on me, but they haven't. I also am a little dissapointed with the new track "Just accept it" among others from a lyric point of view, and well, I donno. I really dont like RB and Jelly Baby at all. Thats not to say these tracks aren't good/ my girlfriends favorites songs at the moment are actually Raver Baby releases (Come Together and Castles).

hehe im 16 and cane old skool out more than i do happy hardcore:( guess i was born a few years to late lol!:( oh well!!! I love da stuff:) The Raverbaby releases r boring i dont liek castles at all:(.....N just accept it( i aint saying nuffink)....
I think Hixxy made sum classic trax and is still really experimenting wiv his style, if there selling well good luck too him just not my cup of tea.
