nifty idea,
costly though!?
im thinking of buying cd decks, is that a good idea?
or should i go for record decks?
i dont want to spend too much money on it yet, its just a set of cd decks would be handy 4 me to spin my own tunes, --cant scratch though

learn to mix on record decks before you get cd decks, coz once you can mix on records then mixing on cd's comes naturally. most raves will have cd decks but ALL raves have record decks

ive done mixing on record decks before,
its easy if you get into the groove - so-to-speak!
ive used both at one time actually, now that i remember, they were both linked up to eachother,
im probably wrong on this, but you beat mix on records and fade on the cd's? am i right?
do you ever think there will be cd decks that would enable you to scratch? that would be sweet,
but if really put down to it, id leave it for a long while yet and let you lot spin away,
sweet sweet tunes
thnx all 4 keepin the scene alive, - not that that would mean much though

as long as you got the cd deck on a different channel to the record deck on the mixer then yeh it's possible. and there's already cd decks out that you can scratch with, using a jog wheel

djing would be a pretty expensive hobby wouldn't it?
if i were to even think about it, i would be better taking it up big-time isntead of messin' about on my own?
when did you get your first "gig" or session?

i think everyone is like that, everyone wants to make money out of dj-ing
got my first gig around about august last year in cumbria spinning progressive. i still haven't played any hardcore out unless it's over the internet like my streaming radio,dj competition last year and my mix that i posted a link to in another thread
