I brought off yer nut on 3 piece vinyl, and Its hard to use it for mixing, because it pre-mixed and worse than all its sooooooo fkn quiet. Is it suppose 2b or have i just got a dodgy copy. When I go from that to a normal vinyl it goes sooooo loud.

If we cant do it now....When can we do it???

most complimations are usually quiet. the only ones that i've heard that weren't were the slammin' vinyl ones.

only thing you could do as far as mixing is to change the gain levels

1 record in my absolute hardcore compilation out of 3 is quieter than the other 2,but boosting the gain cures that. m8 the anthems is a quiet copy

i think they figure that they will probably loose money when selling a complimation so they will opt to make it quiet and make people shell out the money for the individual vinyl pieces....

How about recording your quiet records onto a CDR or minidisc? I know minidisc is crap for mixing but it's good for recording your hhc tunes for when you can't take your vinyl.

Albums are usually quieter than normal 12" because they usually have 3 or 4 tracks on each size, this means that the grooves have to be closer together and therefore the volume has to be reduced. It's well annoying though..

Would Tommy Kirkwood, and Lynne come to the surge tent out front immediately, this is proper urgent.
