I've been working on a cover of 'Veracocha - Carte Blanche', probably my favourite, epic trance tune from that era.

I love the orignal, one of my favorites too. ur version is good, only thing is i hate that bass, but thats just me i guess

Yeah, bass is pretty hit/miss. Tried loadsa basses, but didn't sound hardcore enuff. It does sound a bit 'donk'.

Although i do feel remixing this old classic trance tracks is unnecessary, and a bit of a step back for Hardcore whenever someone does. The track is ok but not dissimilar enough from the original tbh other than the change of bpm. I know im coming accross as a bit harsh but i hate remixes of trance classics with a passion, sorry. But the track IS quite well produced so cant fault you on that (well other than that bass  ).

Pretty much just trying to keep on improving on my producing skillz. I appreciate the comments and they're right really. I spose I just did it for my own entertainment and it would feel a bit wasted if I didn't post it.
Yeah, it doesn't stray from the original too far other than the bpm and a few tweaks here and there.
Just keeping you guys on your toes

I agree with Meathead. Just a bit more originality required if you ask me.

Good remix, although probably change the bass, make it sharper ;3
Speaking of other remixes of Carte Blanche, there's one on Balearic Bootlegs by someone anonymous, it's called Complete Freedom and it's got a cover of Push - Strange World on the B-side, which is also an ace track from back in the day.
