This series just keeps getting better and better, its a real shame the next episode will be the last one. Not only that but the movie was also cancelled :(

Indeed. If you showed the back half of this season to anyone I doubt they'd be able to fathom why it was cancelled.

Few of my friends and one in particular who "forced" me into watching Stargate, haven't been watching SGU. So i wonder if the biggest problem was that fans of SG-1 and SGA didn't think it was "Stargate". And people that didn't watch them thought it was. While the people like me who have enjoyed all of them weren't in high enough numbers.

Pretty much. They'd probably have been better just calling it 'Destiny' or something, and avoiding the Stargate stigma all together, as I'm guessing most people were expecting more of the same even though it patently isn't.

well, i can finally open up this topic again now that i'm all up to date!

what an awesome series! hopefully it wont be the entire death of it!

one thing i wont miss is the depression and death that every. single. episode. focused on.
the entire thing was about death..death, death and more death.

i loved it though - still, too much death and depression, and death.

To be honest, i liked the grimm looks of the series. Plus there was a lot of joy in the series too. But maby thats just the finnish in me.

The cancellation has caused a ******* of abuse for Syfy. Their Youtube page, Facebook page and forum has been covered in it :O
