I got mine from selling bodily fluids. I used to sell plasma twice a week,and with the money, I would go straight to the record store and buy a couple new tracks. the guy at the record store asked me why I had a bandage on my arm every time I came in. I told him, and then everyone started calling me plasma. I know there is a guy in the netherlands with this name,but I think I earned it.(and I'm a better dj)

back in 98 I got a copy of paulina taylors slam evil.
my alltime favorite mixtape.
side a was called big bouncing thunder.
so after alot of thought.ahem.I decided I was gonna be Called D.j. Thunderbounce. I even made my original mixtape cover with that name .as time went by I kept thinkin about it and started to find it a little too agresive.
then one day I found myself sayin it like I thought someone who spoke japanese would say it haha
weird.
anyway...it sounded to me like Fundabounce and then I thought YEAH!
Fun as in happy hardcore kinda fun
Da as in Davinci
and bounce which needs no explanation .
It all happened just in time for my mixtape release which makes it that more official so there u go!

I just made mine up. I have been Swift, Oktane, Ravestorm, Flame Knuckle etc.
I hate my name at the moment as theres a band in brisbane here called Superheist, and i think it sounds gay. I Just want a good name, but theres nothing about me that warrents a decent nick. My friends call me Ween but thats partially to pay me out and theres another f*ing band called ween anyway.
Any sugestions??

well i actually got my name from peoples stupidity, and ill tell you why, my real name is souvann pronounced SO-VAN, but people didnt it so they started making nicknames for me and the one that stuck the most was SNOWMANN (and i use 2 n's cause of my name). so there you are thats the story of my name :).

i looked in a thesaurus for the word 'happy' and...wala-----DJ ELATION-----
quite effective i must say (the thesaurus)...i also use the name SUBVERTOR when i spin rotterdam, which means--to destroy all--that took longer to get with some cross referencing, but it was the good ol thesaurus. you need a dictionary around too, cause some of the alternate words in the thesaurus have a slightly different meanings. depending on context and stuff.

Mine...well........compared to sum of them stories mien wuite pathetic lol...i gev my m8 a mix tape bout 2 weeks ago n he jsut turned round saying da B-Man had dun a hectic mix (Brazier my second name) n well Dj Hectic B was spawned cheesy .....maybe....crap defiently ...but 4 me i love it:P

My boyfriend is trying to convince me to use the name DJ Perky - but I'm blonde so that would be way to dodgy. So I if I had to deside right now I would probably go with DJ Vixen (female fox) - all my guy friends have called me that for ages. I think it sounds a whole lot better the DJ Perky

My DJ name happend by accident..
I was at a party and after my set (this is going back 6 years ago, when I was playing house and techno), a promoter came up to me and asked me if I would like to play his upcoming event...
The following is the transcript from the actual conversation:
Setting: dark room, loud music and a large group of people dancing..
Promoter: good set
Rich: thanks
Promoter: want to play at my next event
Rich: sure
Promoter: whats your dj name?
Rich: Rich
Promoter: what???? I can't hear you?
Rich: RICH!!!!
Promoter: Rich? Just Rich?
Rich: Yeah! Just Rich...
2 weeks later the flyer appears with a dj by the name of " DJ Just Rich"..
I have since shortened it to "justrich"..
Then people can say, "who's playing?" "Oh it's just Rich"
hehehehehe
