Vanity publishing is as easy as setting up your own "digital label" on soundcloud. Getting it actually published through a reputable publisher is super hard.
You would be best off these days going the ebook route and using a good marketeer like

Just about anybody can publish a Kindle book via Amazon.
They can be read on tons of devices through the free app.
