ive posted something about this before but i really need the help.
i sort of understand the concept of beat matching but should you fade in the next choon your mixing or cut it in and should you fade out or cut it out. sort of hard to to explain but what sounds better to you?

It's upto you, your the DJ, whatever you think sounds better.

depends on the tunes as well,some sound better fading in and some sound better dropping them straight in,it'll come with time, when you get to know your tunes better,you'll pick up what's best

Indeed, it does very much depend on the tunes in question. I spin industrial dance, but the concept is still very much the same. If the incoming tune doesn't have a bassline, I'll usu. fade since it makes the transition a bit smoother. Otherwise I punch in (on a 16-count or 32-count) to give the impression of a continuous beat.

I find that after awhile you get to know your choons and what sounds best for them. Sometimes either way is okay, but remember, variety is the key. Sometimes whack it straight in sometimes fade etc
