indeedy, they played a festival in brisbane here last year and omg do those boys know how to work it :)
A lot of the gabber producers in holland listen to rap extensivly and count some of the shit form early 90's (public enemy etc) as some of there biggest influences...it was interesting in brisbane here last year public enemy headlined a rave and the amount of kandy kids that were absolutly goin off to public enemy it was really suprising, i think it is just the ability that those guys have to work a crowd that makes them and inturn their style of music so successful.
if u are keen to check out some really good local hip hop from Aussie land do a search for the "resin dogs" (and a side project "2 dogs") really good stuff, some of the best turntablisim and lyrics i heard.

Same here. The early to mid nineties were some of the best years for hip hop IMO. I also like to take it way back with Kool Herc, Mantronix, Melle Mel, etc.
