I just love the trax with Trixxy but who is it? I've always thought Trixxy was some guy DJing, producing or whatever but I just D/L this track (booo how illegal but it's almost impossible to get CDs/Vinyls here in Sweden) called Hixxy & Lady Trixxy- One spliff and that makes me wonder. Is Trixxy a singer or what? Never seen a track with JUST Trixxy. Anyone know a homepage or something about Trixxy?

I just recalled a track from Happy 2b Hardcore chapter 3 by just Trixxy... Trixxy - Sunrize... Very good btw. But still, anyone got any info on this artist?

Trixxy is a producer in the UK, he works with Brisk, Vinylgroover and a few other people, he is male and can DJ but doesn't for some reason. He has released tracks on Next generation by himself before.

i know where there is a picture of trixxy . it's on the next generation website , go to the older archive .
by the way the whole lady trixxy thing is a real mistery, casue it could be a joke but ive seen a vinyl by Dj Hixxy and Lady Trixxy it was'nt one spliff either. hmm, can't really remeber where but i know i saw it cause i was tryin to figure out fer a while. It might be at dancevinylfinder.co.uk not sure though ....meh , just know it's around

The record with Lady Trixxy on it is Attitude / World War One on Essential Platinum 9, but I'm pretty sure it was just a joke. Trixxy is Jim Sullivan and he now produces hard house with Vinylgroover (VG can't seem to do anything without him heh) as "The Red Hed." I've also heard that he produces some garage as well, but I think he should come back and engineer freeform and freeform-styled tracks again, which is where a lot of his best stuff is.

Tixxy is the Read Head? thats ****ed . I heard a rumor that Trixxy was out of the rave genra all together and that he was producing POP music which really brought a tear to my eye. heh, Glad to hear the rumor really was just a rumor , pheuoff !!!
sorta cool that VG and Trixxy are workin together again so closely , Prime was an awsome record label, absolutely a boomshanker !!!

Well that's partly true. Being a well experienced engineer Trixxy seems to have dabbled in many genres, and yes this does include some pop music. In fact he's worked with some quite large acts as I recall, like some former spice girl for example. I think him doing anything but hardcore is a waste of his talents but I'll bet he's got no problem paying the bills anymore.

Yeah it's really too bad.
I had often wondered myself what had happened to Trixxy. So many could releases done with Brisk especially, the classic Eyeopener comes to mind...along with sooo many others.
